How to Collect and Prepare Your Sample
When to Collect:
-
Wait at least 2 days after your last ejaculation, but no more than 7 days.

Avoid any ejaculation, including masturbation and nocturnal emissions, during that time.
How to Collect:
-
Masturbate to produce sperm specimens.
-
Collect all of the semen—don’t leave any out.
-
Use the sample within 3 hours for best accuracy.
Preparing the Sample:
-
Allow the semen to sit for 20 minutes to liquefy.
-
Gently mix the liquefied sample in the collection container.
-
Use the transfer device to collect 0.1 mL of semen.
-
Add the sample to the dilution tube, cap it, and rotate gently 5–10 times to mix.
How to Do the Test

Remove the test cassette from its foil pouch and lay it flat.

Open the dilution tube and apply 2 drops into the sample well. (Avoid air bubbles.)

Wait 5 to 10 minutes, then check the result.
How to Read the Results
-
Positive (Normal Count):
Two lines appear—one at the control line (C) and one at the test line (T), even if faint. -
Negative (Low Count):
One line appears at the control line (C) only. No line appears at the test line (T). -
Invalid:
No line appears at the control line (C). Test again with a new kit.
